Robotics business intelligence privacy policy

Your operational data is your competitive advantage.

Kevin's Kinetics treats it with the highest privacy standards. This policy explains how we handle robot performance data, contact information, website activity, and information provided by platform users, consulting clients, visitors, and job applicants.

Last updated: January 1, 2025

Kevin's Kinetics is committed to protecting the privacy of the data you entrust to us. We follow applicable US privacy requirements and apply practical controls to enterprise data used in robotics analytics. We never sell personal information or operational data.

01 Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to operate our website, provide services, and respond to a clear business request. Scope matters.

Platform and robot data

Client accounts may provide robot telemetry, fleet identifiers, uptime readings, maintenance events, throughput measures, alerts, and other operational metrics. Your agreement defines the data fields and access limits.

Contact and account details

Forms and direct messages may include your name, work email, company, phone number, role, project notes, and correspondence. We use these details to communicate with you.

Website activity

Our systems may record browser type, device information, approximate location, referring page, pages viewed, and timestamps. Analytics data is used in aggregate to improve site content and performance.

Applicant information

Job applicants may submit contact details, work history, qualifications, and supporting materials. Hiring records are handled for recruitment and legal purposes.

02 How We Use Your Data

We use information to deliver the robotics platform, analyse agreed operational measures, provide consulting support, and maintain account security.

  • Provide dashboards, reports, alerts, integrations, and requested platform functions.
  • Investigate service issues, maintain audit records, and improve system reliability.
  • Reply to enquiries, schedule business communications, and manage client relationships.
  • Meet contractual, tax, regulatory, and other legal obligations that apply to our work.

03 Data Sharing and Disclosure

Operational data stays under your control. We do not sell it or disclose it to unrelated parties for their own marketing.

We may use carefully selected service providers, including cloud infrastructure providers such as AWS, to host and secure the platform. These providers receive only the access needed for their contracted task and must follow confidentiality and security requirements. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or during a business reorganisation subject to appropriate safeguards.

04 Data Security

Security controls are part of platform operations. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest using AES-256 where supported by the service configuration.

Controlled access

Access is limited by role and business need. We review permissions and maintain activity records for relevant systems.

Trained people

Staff undergo annual privacy and security training, with additional guidance for client data and incident handling.

No internet service can remove every risk. We assess incidents promptly and notify affected clients when applicable law or contract requires it.

05 Data Retention

We retain information for as long as it supports the stated purpose, contractual duties, dispute handling, and legal recordkeeping. Client retention periods align with the applicable agreement; the default period for platform and operational records is three years after the relevant service relationship ends.

We securely delete, aggregate, or anonymise information when the retention period expires, unless a longer period is required by law or a documented legal need.

06 Your Rights

Depending on your state and circumstances, US privacy law may give you rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information. You may also ask us to explain our use of your information or limit certain processing.

Send a request to [email protected]. We may verify your identity before responding. We aim to respond within the time required by applicable law and will explain any lawful limitation.
